The Girl Scout Museum at Daisy's Place Scrapbooks Digital Collection is a collaborative digital preservation project between the Girl Scout Council of Southern Appalachians and the University of Tennessee Knoxville School of Information Sciences. The Girl Scout Council of Southern Appalachians, which serves 46 counties from east Tennessee, north Georgia, and Virginia, is headquartered in Knoxville, TN and home to what’s known as The Girl Scout Museum at Daisy's Place. An all-volunteer-run museum, The Girl Scout Museum at Daisy's Place preserves artifacts related to Girl Scouting important to understanding the history of the organization and the history of the region in general. The museums holdings include vintage uniforms, badges, handbooks, nature guides, and scrapbooks.
